Amazed

I took these pictures today at my mom's house.

Roses --and actually any flower -- is amazing in it's make-up and beauty.

Can I tell you that I just couldn't pick one that I liked.

It was that time of the year again. Another birthday and another need for pictures...

The only way to get a happy picture out of this guy was to give him a red sucker.

At first, I stuck it in my pony tail as a kind of visual for the "after" treat....didn't work quite as well as I had hoped. But that is soooo ok. I am in LOVE with the way these pictures turned out. I've got such a cute 4 year-old!

I had so much fun this afternoon shooting Emily's Senior Portraits. She was such a good sport with me in trying different poses and I had a blast! So much fun. If I could only choose to spend every afternoon this way!

Snowstorm

Today we got a FABULOUS snowstorm that lasted most of the morning. This afternoon, the boys and I went up to my parents house to play in the snow and I just could not resist an attempt at capturing some of the snow. These are pictures of the old bean vines from this past summer.

I just really liked the depth of the pictures and the contrasts between the white snow and the brown/tan of the dead vines.
